Product Description
How does it work ?
Using a single camera, AI-ris ingests 4K imagery and processes it in real time with embedded Sea Machines software.
Targets on and below the horizon are illuminated and classified using a powerful AI/ML model that has been built on a database of imagery.
The user can select guard zone preferences for warning and alerts, and can even record the tracked data.
AI-ris can also work at night, in low light conditions with infrared and night modes.
Why do you need it ?
Conventional sensors miss tracking and alerting of many important events and situations which AI-ris can detect.
AI-ris offers clarity with its processed and augmented first person view of the environment, which allows for immediate understanding of situation as opposed to looking at a 2D top down representation.
Difficulty navigating an area with debris in the water ? AI-ris will illuminate small objects within 500m.
Have a near miss with another vessel ? You can now record the video, and the streaming coordinates and position of the other craft relative ownship.
AI-ris serves as a supplement and a back up to marine radar.

The Best Navigation Sensor in Sight
AI-ris uses camera vision and AI-processing to detect, track, classify, and geolocate objects, traffic, and obstacles for unprecedented situational awareness.
AI-Ris Features
Computer Vision Radically Improves Vessel Safety
Boats and ships operate on the planet’s most dynamic environment and the limitations in conventional navigation sensors leave the bulk of perception work to the human eyes and human brain doing continuous scanning of the waterway. Fatigue, distraction, and general perceptive confusion can lead to misses and mistakes.
The biggest advancement in vessel navigation instrumentation since GPS, AI-ris is an ever-alert technology with the ability to deliver predictable operational results that can improve vessel reliability, as well as reduce collisions caused by human error. Now commercially available, this technology can radically improve vessel safety.
The Future of Safe Navigation is Here
AI-ris enables a tremendous performance and safety increase, and the superior capabilities of computer vision and AI ensure safer, more productive voyages.
