News Sea Machines to attend UNH’s Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping Industry Event

July 17, 2019

Sea Machines is attending the University of New Hampshire (UNH) Industrial Associates Meeting event today and tomorrow, located on campus in the UNH Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping (CCOM)’s/Joint Hydrographic (JHC) Center in Durham, North Carolina. This two-day event gives Sea Machines the chance to meet with senior representatives of NOAA’s Office of Coast Survey and Office of Ocean Exploration, the National Marine Fisheries Service, the National Geodetic Survey, the Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services, the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations, and the National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science.

During the meeting, Sea Machines will share how its autonomous marine technology adds new capabilities to marine survey vessels, increasing their productivity, predictability and safety.

The JHC is a formal cooperative partnership between the University of New Hampshire and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) whose aim is to create a national center for expertise in ocean mapping and hydrographic sciences. CCOM, a complementary university center, expands the scope of ocean mapping interaction and collaboration with the private sector, other government agencies, and other universities.
