Press Releases Sea Machines Announces an Emerging Record Year of Bookings and Global Growth Fueled by USV Adoption

June 10, 2026

Growth across defense markets in the U.S. and Asia signals accelerating demand for mature maritime autonomy solutions.

BOSTON, USA; June 10, 2026 — Sea Machines Robotics today announced a record year to date of sales bookings and business growth, driven by expanding global demand for proven autonomous vessel systems. The trend is fueled by a broad range of Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) projects and autonomy deployments across defense and commercial sectors worldwide, reinforcing the industries’ transition from experimentation to operational implementation.

Along with serving US customers, Sea Machines is seeing significant momentum across Asia and Europe; regions where governments, shipbuilders, operators and defense organizations are increasingly moving USV concepts to active programs. This transition from innovation to operations requires mature technology and this is how Sea Machines is winning, with its time-tested and proven autonomy systems capable of operating in complex environments and integrating onto a diverse range of vessel types.

Sea Machines has continued its strong commercial momentum in 2026, delivering sales 10x the same period in 2025. The company’s expanding market footprint is also evident in booking activity, with deal volume increasing 80% year over year. New customer acquisition has scaled significantly, with six times the number of new customers added in 2026 year to date compared to prior periods. This growth is further underscored by a 100% increase in deal size, due to multi-boat program orders.

“The global maritime market is reaching an important turning point and we are ready for it with product that meets requirements and with immediate availability” said Phil Bourque, of Sea Machines Robotics. “For years, the industry explored the possibilities of autonomy. Today, we are seeing those concepts scale. Operators are moving beyond prototypes and asking for systems that are deployable today, scalable tomorrow and proven through real-world operations. This has directly translated into growth for Sea Machines as we are ready to deliver now.”

Sea Machines continues to support these evolving and growing mission sets with adaptable “drop in” autonomy systems designed for rapid deployment across a wide range of vessel classes. This type of implementation is part of the growing trend across global defense and commercial markets: customers are increasingly seeking to install product-ready autonomy capabilities which transform conventional vessels into force-multipliers without requiring clean-sheet platform development.

As Sea Machines enters this phase of growth, the company remains focused on expanding global partnerships, supporting customers with operationally mature technologies and enabling the broader marine industry’s transition to autonomous fleets.
