According to Marine Link, the top story coming out of 2018 is the rapid development and adoption of autonomous vessel technology. Marine Link writes:

The article goes on to describe a number of current marine autonomy projects that happened this year, including Sea Machines’ operation of the world’s first remote-control fireboat in Denmark.
