SM400

Advanced Perception & Situational Awareness

SM400

An AI-powered system that brings together long-range computer vision and multi-sensor fusion to augment crew perception.

ADVANCED SITUATIONAL AWARENESS TECHNOLOGY

SM400 provides advanced situational awareness to bridge crew. It provides mariners with a fuller understanding of the ship’s surrounding domain, as well as audible and visual warnings that alert to any threats on the course. SM400 uses AI recognition to classify detected objects, and fuses vision targets with conventional sensor data to increase targeting confidence.

  • Improves on-board situational awareness
  • MLAI-powered computer vision and perception software
  • Vessel and object type identification, tracking and geo-location capabilities
  • Warnings to ensure safe navigation
  • Operational data recording
  • Remote vessel-view for shore-based teams

INTELLIGENT AT-SEA OPERATIONS

Data-driven performance and safety

Sea Machines’ system displays 180-degree panoramic domain views on touch-screen monitors located on the bridge and other areas of the ship. The system is always on watch, and supports safe navigation around the clock to enhance ship operations.

The SM400 acts as a hub and conduit for shipboard digital data. This system collects, displays, records and transmits operational telemetry and data, such as navigation and traffic information. It also offers videos of the operating domain, environmental information and condition of on-board machinery.

Improved schedule integrity

Advanced perception and situational awareness technologies are always on watch and inform crew of potential risks which they may not directly perceive thereby reducing incidents, accidents and delays that impact cargo schedules and reduce operators’ bottom lines.
